Troubleshooting
Purpose
Troubleshooting explains common admin symptoms and where to start looking.
Empty list
An empty list usually means no records match the current filters, no records exist yet, or your account cannot see them. Clear filters first, then check permissions.
Access denied
Access denied means your account is authenticated but does not have the required permission, role, or group access. Ask an admin with permission management access to review your assignments.
Missing menu item
If a public menu item is missing, check Menu Manager, the target state, and the visibility/access rules for the target.
Missing dashboard widget
Check Widgets first: enabled state, assignment, visibility, and ordering. Dashboard only displays what Widgets provides.
Missing addon screen
Check Addons Manager or the relevant catalog. The addon may be disabled, not installed, not ready, or unavailable to your role.
Form will not save
Check required fields, CSRF/session state, permissions, and any notice shown after submitting.
Public page not showing
Check publishing state, route or slug, menu placement, and access visibility.
When to ask for help
Ask for help when a change affects permissions, settings, installed addons, or system tools. Those areas are powerful, and powerful things deserve a second look before anyone starts pressing buttons with confidence and no map.
